Vik did residency training in general surgery and has been practicing medicine since 2007. He is currently licensed in 16 states (AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NC, NY, OH, PA, UT, VA, WA, WI) and is clinically active as a general practitioner and as a staff physician at UCSF Medical Center and Main Line Health System.
Entrepreneur
Vik started his first company almost 20 years ago to improve access to health care for underserved populations. He has since co-founded or served as a senior executive for several venture-backed health technology companies funded by Drive Capital, Fortress Investment Group, General Catalyst, Oak HC/FT, Polaris Partners, 7wire Ventures, among others.
Speaker
Vik is an active speaker and guest lecturer at various national conferences and academic forums. His topics include clinical medicine, digital and global health, entrepreneurship and innovation, Medicaid/Medicare, patient engagement, product development and technology, social determinants of health, and value-based care.
